Jamie is six months old today! Wow. I can't believe it. Where has the time gone? Well, I could answer that, lol. Rocking the bassinette, pacing the floors with him in my arms, changing nappies, bathing, breastfeeding, mushing up fruit and vegetables, tickling, playing with and generally gazing at my little man.
He's teething again. Poor little guy is so unsettled. He cried for 2.5 hours straight yesterday. You can see little white bits on his gums where his teeth are coming close to the surface. I think I should invest in some teething gel.
I love these little chubby hands :).

When Amanda was teething I often gave her a cold damp face washer to suck on (supervised of course) and that seemed to calm her sometimes. She liked having the coldness in her mouth on her sore gums.
There are also teething rings you can freeze for babies to suck on and some mothers swear by these too.
I also used Panadol on several occassions (mostly at night) so don't hesitate when necessary. Babies and pain together are no fun for anyone.

Poor little mite, hope his teeth cut soon. Maybe its another growth spurt as well, I know someone else who has been very unsettled the last couple of days too!!!(that would be why Im commenting at 2.45am!!!!) but no sign of teeth here yet.

i love reading about jamie's milestones so much, brings back so much memories. he's such a cutie.
yuk! hate teething times. still do. don't you wish they were born with a whole set of teeth but then that couldn't be good for breastfeeding.lol.
p/s: about what you asked me on my blog, what buttons are you after. the ones i used on my layouts atm are just spotlight ones. a bargain only $7 per bag for like 500 buttons.
