Phil arrived home from doing his assignment yesterday afternoon with a big bunch of flowers for me, and he then went straight to the kitchen and started preparing a roast for dinner. We had my parents over for tea. So, yes! I got spoilt. In the nicest way. And I got a beautiful mothers day card "to my wife" (lol, having only been married 2 years, I still get a kick out of cards that say that!) that said I was a great mum (or words to that effect). I was a happy girl. And, man, it was nice to get all that washing out of the way. I had so much of it, the washing line was chockerblock and I ran out of pegs. So it was a necessary evil.
Jamie has learnt to splash in the bath. Yikes! I need a raincoat in order to bathe him now. He has developed such strong little legs! And he just loves to stand on them - gets that gorgeous huge grin that takes up half his face, and you can tell that he just thinks he's oh so clever :). Anyway, I'm thinking that it's almost time to put him into the big bath so I don't get wet. It's just that... he looks so damn cute in his little blue baby bath!

Yes kids love to splash. You should see how wet my bathroom floor gets when my daughter (nearly 6 years old) has her baths.......lol
I am glad to read you got spoilt on Mother's Day. It makes it all worth while doesn't it. I also felt very loved and appreciated from my daughter and husband yesterday, so that was nice.
Happy first mothers day Kathie. Glad you were about to have some special time together, and a sweet card too :)
You'll have to get some vidio footage of Jamie in the little bath before you pack it away. It will be fun to show him how wet he used to make everything - including you.
Glad it turned out better that you first thought! It's lovely!
My two bath in the spa in our main bathroom, so it's huge! You should see the puddles they create outside the bath! I just have to shut my eyes and mop. I can't get them to stop! Least I know the floor is always clean!!! (Too much water for it not to be!) Love that LO you did on breast feeding. Oh so familiar! I remember the pain oh too well, and the expressing. What a great idea to record it on a LO. When Denver was little I scrapped only the lovely things. Think I would scrap differently now if I were to go back, now that I have been scrapping for so long. I want to scrap everything! Thanks for the constant motivation and inspiration!!!
Hi Kathie, how lovely was it to be spoilt! I also love the way you have documented so much of your motherhood experience as well. It is so easy to get caught up in just the artistic side of a layout but you always remember to document the little things of life.
