Happy New Year!!!

Happy 2008 everyone. Well, did you welcome the new year in, in style?

We went out for tea with close friends. Very low key. Beautiful food. Great company. A few drinks. A band. It was good. We were meant to go out to a full-on band and dancing, but I wasn't up to it yet. So this was a lovely alternative.

I resolved to get back on the treadmill this year. I'd like to get some of my fitness back. Apart from that, I don't really have any things that I want to change about my life. Maybe to take it easier?

To be honest, 2007 was a bit of a tumultuous year for me: being mum of a two year old, renovating the old house, moving to the new house, going back to work, helping Jamie to ease into childcare, joining new playgroups and trying to make friends in a new suburb, and then the failed pregnancy.

I would like to have a more restful 2008.

We'll see.
