I had an email this week from Julie Stone who is involved with the Southern Cross Kids Camp for neglected, abused and at risk children, at the end of April. See her post about it here.
Anyway, she's asking the scrapping community to help out by creating the "simplest, most basic 6" x 6" (Photo size is 5" x 3.5") background LO's" that the kids can add pictures to and make memory books that focus on their holiday week. As Julie explains, "these books are incredible memory anchors for these sad little children, most count down the days until the next years camp, for many of these children the photos we take and scrap at camp are sometimes their only childhood pictures."
How sad!

Thanks for advertising this on your blog. I will email Julie right now and offer my scrapping services.
Simple layouts are something I can master and I would love to help with such an important cause.
