Remember when...Journaling: This little cutie is my mum. Look at those little chubby cheeks! That blonde hair. She is so precious, "helping" with the gardening.
When I found this photo recently, I was struck by the similarity of Jamie and my Mum at this age. Wow!
Motherhood
Journaling: This thing called motherhood caught me by surprise... In my twenties I said why sould I waste an outstanding tertiary education and a promising career by having a baby. In my thirties a doctor told me that I might never conceive. My reaction shocked me. I realised that I wanted to be a mum. I wasn't until I was forty that I finally became a mother and the intensity of my feelings for this little guy just blow me away.
I hope all you mums out there have a lovely day on Sunday and get to relax and take it easy.
