Pink Paislee

Well, I promised you last night that I wouldn't leave you hanging with my heartfelt slightly melancholy journaling from last night. So, here. A new post.

I have decided to try out for the Pink Paislee design team. You all know I'm a huge fan of Pink Paislee, don't you! I'm sure that there will be hundreds of applicants, but yagottabeinittawinit.

So, here are a stack of Pink Paislee pages, all together on my blog in the one post. Oh, but there's one in the Masters magazine too :). Is it out in newsagents yet? Argh, I'm so impatient!

Anyway, here we go.

Tripod Sitting
You were so cute when you first started sitting up. Your body would lean so far forward and you had to support your body with your arms in front of you, like a tripod. Every now and then you'd forget what you were doing and tumble forward, flat on your face.

Smiles and Polka Dot Dresses
1969. Two little cuties perched on the piano stool for a photo. Two sisters in their matching polka dot dresses.

Poser
Grandma took these photos of you when you went to the park with them. It was the first time that you showed any interest in the camera. Normally you just run around doing your own thing and we have to run after you with the camera. However, Grandma tells me that this day you just lay there on the play equipment and posed for the camera; like a supermodel.

32 months
I watch you as you're engrossed in your task. You're 32 months old now and can occupy yourself for quite long periods of time. This day you were playing with playdough; making "turtles" or "snakes" or some such thing. I love seeing your imagination develop. You are in love with jigsaw puzzles this month and I watch you, fascinated, as you place the pieces exactly where they belong. You have an amazing memory. Far better than mine. You love to act out little scenes. "Jar-Jar go shop!" you declare as you pick up a bag and head to the door. On your "return" we discuss what you've bought: "rock-ben, bwee-bwees, binebabble and pears!" Ah yes, you love your fruit. You count everything in sight: "bun, doo, dee, bibe, bik" you say. You always, always skip four. What is it with that? And you spontaneously break into "happy birthday to you" at various times of the day. It's always your birthday too. You insist on that. Ah, you really are gorgeous. I love you!

Anyone else going to try out for the team?

So, what else is happening around here? We went to Jamie's childcare Christmas party last night. A masquerade party. Bedlam! But oh so cute. Jamie was Woody from Toy Story. I forgot the camera! Doh!

I am thoroughly sick of eating and it's not even Christmas yet. Anyone else feeling it? We have Phil's work's Christmas party tomorrow night and then I think we have a reprieve. Until Sunday lunchtime, lol. Then I think we can take it easy until the eating starts in earnest on Christmas Eve.

Congrats congrats congrats on being a Master!!!! Loved your entry, definately a standout - especially the single LO, what a great idea with the tree!

Ive applied for Pink Paislee, but really dont think I have any chance of getting in - still, I've really got nothing to lose, and it's all good experience!

xx

I have been fond of PP paper since I started looking at Linda Albrecht's site. The papers in your Tripod LO are also my most favourite, favourite, favourite in Linda's stuff too.

I'll have to get to a newsagents ASAP to have a look.

bye for now
