72andSunny

I made this layout a while back for the Aussie Scrap Source blog. It features 72andSunny collection, which has just arrived in Australia from WeR Memory Keepers.

Journaling: While we were visiting Auntie Sonia in Perth, we walked down to the turtle park one day. While we were there the vet came by with a big net and we watched her try to catch the turtles so she could given them some medicine.

Unfortunately the layout got ommitted from the original post, although it's now been added. A shame, because it's one of my favourite layouts at the moment.

I wanted to create a layout about our trip to the turtle pond when we were visiting my sister in Perth at Christmas. But I had no photos of Jamie from while we were at the pond (probably too worried about falling in!). So I cheated and used a photo that I had taken 5 minutes beforehand in the playground right next door.

I've simply cut around the figure in the photo, then created a little scene on my page for it.

Is it scary that I saw your title in GoogleReader and know EXACTLY what you are referring to?? This is very different from what I typically do, it's like a page off a story book, very unique stuff! xxoo

Your layouts are about engaging the readers and Jamie is going to love you all the more when he grows up. Love you color room layout to. This weeks colours are so yummy. Take care Kathie
