Jamie style

Hello, hello, I hope everyone's having a good long weekend. I have been. Jamie has gone to his grandparents for a sleep over and I have been doing all those sorts of sorting and arranging things that you just don't get to do with a small child under-foot.

Phil was away on business last week and missed my birthday so last night he was going to take me out - just the two of us - grownups - for tea. Except I was too cold and so I opted for take-out with a video. It was so cosy and warm in our house, I just could not be bothered to step one foot outside. I must be getting old! So he bought me home Thai food, and a birthday cupcake (hee hee). I even got a candle and happy birthday sung to me. Awww.

Today I have been looking at vacuum cleaners with Shelley (our washing machine and vacuum cleaner both have packed up, sigh) and then for a coffee (yay for coffee with friends!). And tonight we have Jamie back, and a birthday tea with my parents. Then, I dunno what we'll do tomorrow. Something. We'll see. How are you spending your long weekend? What shall we do tomorrow? Any ideas? Seeing as it's cold and likely to be raining?

I have certainly strung out my birthday though - almost a week. Not bad going, hey? Oh, and did I mention that I took Thursday and Friday off work as well? Happy birthday to me!!

Journaling: This is what happens whe I let you dress yoruself. A fleecoy windcheater over a pale blue summer shirt, over a bright green polar fleece over a red skivvy. Ah, you're a colourful lad! (At least I know you'll always be warm :) ).

Hee hee, that child makes me laugh.

Oh, and I have just decided to be a bit more active over at scrapbook.com. I am ever so out of my depth and feeling like nigel-no-friends there at the moment, as it's simply huge. So please, if you are a member, take pity on me and "friend" me, lol? I am kathieL
