Journaling: It's July 2010. You're four and three quarters. You're 109cm tall and you weigh 18kg. You go to kindy three sessions a week and love it. You go to childcare two days a week and do not love it. You love to climb, jump and balance. On the weekend you ride your bike up to the park with daddy and play on the play equipment. That is the high point of your week, although you tell me that it's hard work riding your bike all the way there and back. You love the Wii. You have a new game - Indiana Jones or, as you call him, "the man with the whip". You love the black jelly beans. You hate Jak on your bed. You love to do simple arithmetic. You can write your name. Your speech is vastly improved but you still say cute words like bekchast (breakfast), fimmished (finished), and bemember (remember). You love sausages and corn on the cob. You don't like potatoes. You're amazing. You are very very loved.
I have been a very absent blogger. Sorry. My excuse is that I was sick for most of July. It wasn't only blogging that suffered. I completely lost any motivation to scrap. And I am not even going to talk about the state of my house. I was just too exhausted to do much at all. I had many early nights, and many nights cuddled up on the couch watching television or reading a book.
The good news is that, apart from a rotten cough, I am much recovered and am hoping that August it going to be a much happier month! I hope to even get back to my exercise routine. I have turned into a couch potato. I really am hoping that the weather warms up soon! Bring on Spring....
