Journaling: You were given the chance to dress up as something from the garden for childcare. You chose to dress up as a ladybug!
Awww. The felt woolies that accompany this collection are soooo sweet :).
Have a great weekend!Kathie

Journaling:Yesterday you wanted to help me hang out the washing. You went inside and fetched your little red chair. And then you hung out the socks.
This is the second layout:
This one is so feminine and sweet. Quite diferent to the others.

Nic, this one's for Jazz's album!
And isn't this one cute? This little beauty has just started walking. Love that!

Off to pick Jamie up from kindy and then we have a playdate here. See ya!
And this was my layout:
Journaling: At four and a half you are a real bundle of energy. You're inquisitive and want to know how everything works - how "the man" makes iceblocks and gets them in the wrapper, even how you were made. You are learning the alphabet and your numbers. You can even do simple addition sums. You love to ride around the back patio on your new bike and look so sweet all decked out in your Ben10 helmet and knee pads. You are quite a little engineer and can follow simple guidelines to make your constructions. We've put together a craft box full of colour paper, stickers, pipe-cleaners and stencils and you happly sit at your table in the window, creating your "artwork". I see a competitive streak developing in you. You must win board games and any throw of the dice that is lower than three is deemed unworthy and must be repeated. You love kindy. You don't like childcare. You love weekends because daddy's home. You love sleepovers at Grandma and Grandad's. And we love you more and more each day.
This week's colour combination has been posted, and it's gorgeous.
Unfortunately I haven't had the time to sit down and do this one (yet!). But you do want to see what everyone else is doing with it, because there are some seriously beautiful creations in the gallery!
Journaling: Today was your first day of fulltime kindy. You've already been going part-time for a couple of terms, so I almost forogt the importance of the "official first day" photo. It was a rushed effort as we headed out the door. "Get the bag Mum" was your main concern.
This layout took on a life of its own. It started minimal. Believe it? LOL.
Apple Jack is such a sweet range. I love the vintage feel of it, and all the images and letters :)
I've since made another layout using it, and still plan on a couple more :)
But more of those later. I'm off to veg on the couch after a busy couple of days. Have a lovely weekend! We have no plans at present, as I've been sick most of the week and just haven't been able to bother to organise anything. But I'll have to get out the phone tonight and tee up a few things, I think! Enjoy it, whatever you're doing.
Journaling: This is where I got to relax. Green grassy slopes, large shady trees and a pool of calm reflective water. Aaah, I can feel the tension slipping away.
I inked through it:
And I used it as a template for cutting out pattern paper.

My grandmother and a friend. Love love love this photo!
I kept an art-deco feel to the layout, in keeping with the old 1920s photo.
Butterflies! They keep appearing on everything I'm doing at the moment. And I mean EVERYTHING.
And this layout is in Creating Keepsakes Aussie Reader Gallery.
Now this page is a firm favourite. It was the first page I'd done in a long while where I was unencumbered by design requirements. And it's full of lovely things!
I'm at work for the rest of the week, then we have a busy weekend. And sometime in there I am trying to finish up those layouts for the May Cropaholics kit so you get the instructions when you buy it next week!
So, until next week!
Kathie
Gorgeous Webster's Pages Life's Portrait collection.
Journaling: Grandma's strawberries. Jamie has been watching them grow and, on his last visit, he had his eye on this one all day. Grandma had told him he could pick it at tea-time and have it with his dessert.
I've used a mix of Jenni Bowlin's "Homespun" range, with some Cosmo Cricket thrown in for good measure ;). Pennant banners. I love them. I will be using more.
Journaling: A childhood of hand made clothes has instilled in me a need for fashionable, stylish clothing.
I love all of the October Afternoon ranges they just released. This is the Thrift Shop line.
With a Hambly dress mannequin rubon. Love!
Journaling: The Clipsal 500 car race was on in the city and everyone was celebrating. Childcare invited you to come dressed as a car. Your Dad sat down the night before and created your costume. Look at you! You even posed for the camera and made driving motions. Go you!
As I wrote on the blog, Cosmo Cricket's Joy Ride collection is ideal for little boys. I had a hard time not using an entire sheet of the chipboard diecuts. I had serious problems restricting myself!
Love the combo of masculine neutrals with bright pops of turquoise, yellow and orange.
And isn't this little guy so vintage-cute? And the other little fella's pretty cute too ;)
