Hobbies and Sports

This week at Aussie Scrap Source we are exploring sports and hobbies through the generations. This is my layout:

Journaling: I really wanted to play sports at school but Mum had decided that we were to do ballet. She had done calisthenics and wanted us to follow a similar path. So, instead of netball and tennis I learnt classical, jazz, tap and acrobatics.

My sister and I both trained as ballet dancers for a great part of our childhood. My sister in fact left school after year 10 to forge a career in the arts.

I've used Sassafrass' Sweetly Smitten papers and embellishments here, mixed with some Prima and some Crate Paper. I really do enjoy making girly pages! If only I had more of an excuse...

What a beautiful layout and loved reading about your dancing career in your early years. It's wonderful to have learned these skills!!!

You do girly pages very well Kathie!!! I love that you have included the photo of your mother and the beautiful way everything flows around it :)

Something else I have learnt about you Kathie. I didn't know you had done dancing. The things we find out about each other through scrapbooking eh!

This layout is so pretty with all the soft colours and delicate embellishments. Wow wow wow!!!

Thanks for sharing. I always love to see more of your wonderful creations.

Have a fun and safe week. From Susan McGuire (smiles1965) xxoo
