Six Years of Blogging

Six years ago I started this little blog.

Since then I've written over 1020 posts!

But time moves on. Increasingly I've started feeling like I'm talking to myself. And it's not felt like the fun it used to. Even worse, I feel like I've got nothing to write about.

So, I am posting my last post tonight. To say goodbye, and to thank my readers for walking with me in friendship for the last six years.

Take care
Kathie xx

Oh no Kathie! What a sad day for everybody who got to know you and your amazing talent through blog world! I read all your blog posts for the last 2 - 3 years and I can honestly say that I loved every single one of them, even if I didn't always leave a comment. I will miss your posts, but I can understand that you want to move on. Lucky we still have Facebook.
Thank you so much for being such a great blog friend and for all the inspiration you've provided throughout the years. Take care. xx

I too have read every blog post you have made, since the Shop and Crop days. I don't comment, I read it in Google Reader. I will miss your posts Kathie, thank you.

You will be very sorely missed Kathie! I too have loved reading your blog and have been inspired by you many times over. I know priorities shift and we all move on from one thing to another... that's just life I guess. All the very best to you and yours. Hugs, J x

Sorry to see you are calling it a day for the blogging world. I do know what you mean though...I sometimes wonder if I am just writing to myself. I love reading your blog and I don't leave comments anywhere near as often as I should. All the best Kathie.

I am sorry to hear that you are stopping. I have read all your posts for years now but only placed comments on a few. You have been a great inspiration for me with your create boys layout. I myself have a boy and when I have foundt it hard to move on on a layout you have always helped me. Thank you for opening a door to your life and creative side.

Oh Kathie... so sorry to hear that, but I know how you feel. If I were to scale back on my scrapping I'm sure I would feel exactly the same way. But I'll also miss your online presence. You were one of my first scrappy crushes and have always been a huge inspiration to me. And even more than that, somewhere along the line I even started thinking of you as a friend :-) If you were to start posting again, you should know that you'll still have a loyal following. But I'm sure we'll still be in touch in the meantime.
All my love
xxxx Natalie

Tonight I went for a blog surf, for the first time all year. I too know the feeling, I think facebook has taken over ...however I hope to see your work and photos that I have loved over the last 6 years.
thanks :)

I found your blog through a link on Pinterest. We are all connected and your art speaks to me. I hope you don't mind but I'm going to read your posts from the last few years! I too took a class from Christy Tomlinson...it's in it's 5th week of 6 weeks. I hope I do as well as you did on your interpretation of her style!

Oh. Well I am behind the times then. Probably cos I read your blog in Google Reader and it just hasn't come up.
I will most definitely miss your blog posts, seeing and being inspired by your wonderful layouts, and hearing about the latest thing Jamie is up to.

Six long years since you started this blog, really incredible amount of time and efforts you invested over Kathielink. It’s an awesome experience writing down things, expressing yourself, sharing loads of stuff you feel. I guess it’s time to celebrate the number of posts you had in your blog since past 6 years. That’s really a good feet worthy celebrating.
